The Coach House is situated in a peaceful and serene location, ideal for escaping the distractions of daily life while indulging in hunting, fishing, sightseeing or just enjoying some quiet family time. Nearby, is the village of Killavullen which is nestled between the lush slopes of the Blackwater Valley. The village is home to a population of about 200 and is a pretty place with pubs offering regular traditional music, song and story, a grocery store, a church, and a community centre. The Coach House offers: 1 double en-suite, 1 double and 1 single with a shared bathroom. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated in subtle calming tones. The fully equipped kitchen boasts a washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, hob, fridge, kettle, toaster etc. and a bright dining area with seating for 6. The comfortable living area is warm and welcoming with a solid fuel stove. Bed Linen and Towels are provided along with a Complimentary Welcome Pack including Tea, Coffee, Milk, Bread, Butter and Breakfast Cereals. |

Fishing On The BlackwaterBallymacmoy fishery is located on the Munster Blackwater which is world famous for its salmon and trout fishing.
Our fishing rights are composed of four beats consisting of 3.5 miles of private and exclusive fishing rights mainly on the southern bank with beautiful stretches of streams and pools. It is perfect for all types of river fishing: fly spinning etc. The fishing beats are accessed by simply descending a stone staircase, along the rock, from the house directly to the river. |
The Killavullen Loop Walking TrailThe Killavullen Loop is forestry based and follows a series of gentle climbs leading you up to spectacular views of the Avondhu region and the Bogeragh mountains before descending once more, with good views of the Blackwater Valley opening up in front and to your right.
